In Search of Tywardreath |
A group of local people have started a new community group whose aims are to research into the history & archaeology of the lost Priory, the Church, the village and surrounding areas, how it has changed over the decades, investigate into the civil war battlefields, recording the memories of the community for posterity both digitally & hard copy and starting a walking group. Friends of Par Beach |
Friends of Par Beach (FoPB) is a fully constituted organisation with paid membership. The group is dedicated to the promotion of the preservation and sympathetic use of Par Beach and its Local Nature Reserve (LNR).
We hold regular events during the year and during the months of October through to March hold work parties to carry out work in the LNR in conjunction with the Ranger responsible for the site. Details of these will be found on our website. www.parbeach.com |  |

The Cinnamon Trust |
The Cinnamon Trust is the national charity for the elderly and terminally ill and their pets. We seek to keep owner and pet together for as long as possible with the help of a national network of volunteers who assist when day to day care poses a problem.
